Fog, Glorious Fog

This series of images were taken in Cleveland, Ohio this past Sunday, January 17th. I decided that I just wanted to walk the streets on this wonderful foggy morning and see what kind of fun shots I could find. It all started with the drive north from Akron to Cleveland. I’m pretty happy with the feeling in these shots. Enjoy.

Thanks Akbar, I thought of you when I took the “Early Morning Crossings” shot. Of course, I couldn’t do a street shot without putting my little “spin” on it. Hahaha. Have a great day my friend. Thanks for your continued support.

City of Sound: music you need to hear

A favorite group of mine is Thievery Corporation. Here is there song SWEET TIDES from their album Radio Retaliation. For more information about this very cool group check out the following sites. http://www.thieverycorporation.com/ http://www.eslmusic.com/ Happy 2012!!!! I wanted a special musical theme for the new year. Zach Parrish has come through with a real winner with his track, "BLISTERING HEIGHTS". He is a brilliant composer from Morristown, Tennessee, USA. Be sure to check out more of his music at the following sites. http://zackparrish.bandcamp.com/ http://www.zackparrish.com/ I was looking for something different for Decembers musical theme. And I came across this beautiful sound poem by DEUTSCHCHILL artist Karsten Hartdegen from Moers, Germany. To me it represents the beautiful sounds of angels and icicles. Perfect for this holiday season when few of these sounds are heard. Enjoy. Check out his web page http://deutschchill.bandcamp.com/ and buy the music. Like I always say - let's all do our part to support independent music. I gotta say this is my new favorite track. I've listened several times already. Navigate November is a perfect sound for this month (one of my favorite months of the year). The song is by KOWALKSI from Bangor (Belfast), Northern Ireland. Check out their site and order music. http://kowalski.bandcamp.com/ Support independent music. You will not be disappointed. Heinali is Oleg Shpudeiko is a musician/"sound artist" from Kiev, Ukraine. This wonderful ambient autumnal track is called OCTOBER. Like most independent musicians he has a myspace page. Check it out for more music and info. http://www.myspace.com/heinali AUTUMN IN NEW YORK by Deelee Dube (pronounced, doobay) from London, England. What a great introduction to the month of the Autumnal Equinox (Sept 23). Why does it seem that all the best new jazz seems to be coming out of Britain in the past few years? Be sure to check out her myspace page for more music and videos. http://www.myspace.com/DeeleeDube Here is a link and preview to my first book of photo-based digital images with some of my writings. It was a long time in coming but it's finally here. Check it out.
