The main image was from a factory in Canton, OH that was in the process of being demolished. Sneaking in was a bit tricky because of traffic but it was worth it. I didn’t stay long because it didn’t seem like the safest place since it was halfway gone. Safety first after all (yeah right! I’m one to talk – LOL!)
The original shot specifically features a wall inside where all the power controls were located. Here’s the original so you can see the starting point.

And now a totally jammin’ song to break into the weekend.
NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES by Adam Lambert
Terry, I keep going backwards and forwards b/w the two images and I love what you have done with such an imposing and dramatic starting point! I wonder how safe this place ever was . . . .
Thanks Patti, I’m sure it was safe when it was first built.
Wow, love it! What can I say. I’m a fan of yours!!!.. Well, I’m the same way when I find those buildings that are dangerous yet so much fun to photograph! Just like typical photographers, we put our creative eye in danger but they love the fun!!!! lol..
Whew! I’m not alone.
I acuatlly prefer the original shot!
Thanks for your comment.
Great Work!!!
Thanks Stephen.
I like the interpretability of it (as ever) – could be a PCB, an heat image of city streets… very nice
Thanks Panda.
Something enchantingly whimsical about this one…
Thanks my friend.
Quite a transformation!
