Great question Richard. They are found. The “one way” text is from a street sign and the other letters came from a manufacturing sign for the Morgan Crane Co. in Alliance, OH. In fact this is the start of my Alliance series. Maybe I’ll switch from just numbers to naming my creations for the place where I took the original shots (kinda like Diebenkorn did with his Ocean Park series).
I believe anything interesting – has layers.
The works that I’ve seen of yours seem to have lots of layers, but this one in particular even looks transparent in parts – I love it!
Tis a great work mobius
Oh, and p.s. the text looks amazing, I think it may be because some of the text is known to us; as it’s so public, and yet here it is in bold unusual colour, making us see the text anew.
If I only had a big house with big wallls………
“if you build it…”
Brilliant again! Are the letters found or your additions?

Yes, really like the idea of an Alliance series. I shall check out Diebenkorn’s Ocean Park series right now.
Yes, his paintings are really interesting – I can see why you’d like him. Very spatial and specific to place. I shall explore more.

Thanks Kelly. I have been playing with selective transparency. Thanks for noticing.

What a maze of brilliance! Am I on the outside looking in, or am I inside looking out?
you get to choose.
