Thanks TooL. Glad you like it. I certainly have strayed from regular “photography” haven’t I? The source image was of a doorway of a building with a sign that said “condemned”. There are many of these in downtown Alliance, OH. Kinda sad because the town isn’t that big to begin with. This is a college town – the home of Mount Union University. And all the business has shifted from the old downtown to where there college is located (on the outskirts). Of course the business is not the same it’s all strip malls now not the mom and pop stores one would find normally. Ah well – all in the name of progress I guess.

This is gorgeous! I like looking at it seeing similarities to my own house-inspred imagery. It has a definite floor-plan kind of vibe. I love the way you direct the eye around the image!
Thanks. I use photoshop elements (version 10). I start with a photograph and then start creating different layers of that photo carefully selecting different features that I want to highlight. I will often then add a couple of textures to “flesh” out the final image. Thanks for your comment.
Love the palette – this one’s very painterly again. Love the visual echoes – and the deceptive simplicity of the composition. It’s got a lot of depth (of feeling).
Wonderful…you are in your groove.

Nice, great colors; feels like an abstract window!
Thanks Ron. A very different color pallet from recent posts. Glad you like.

Very nice combination of colors. Hmmmm … electronic patchwork.
… Meanwhile, I’m still working at trying to return to my normal reading routine.
Thanks Frank. Take your time. Routines are easier to get into than out of.
Thanks!
Cores bonitas!
That peeling layers of decay should look so beautiful!
Brilliant – I love how the lines slowly draw your view to the center.
Thanks rabirius.
Strong composition!
