A little midweek jazz from The Rite of Strings featuring “string” legends Jean-Luc Ponty (Violin), Stanley Clarke (Bass), Al Di Meola (Guitar) and completing the quartet is Monty Alexander on keyboards. Filmed at the 1994 Montreux Jazz Festival. Enjoy this neat live performance of SONG TO JOHN [Coltrane]. It just seemed like the kind of bright and colorful music to go with today’s image.
